My cooking skills used to reach only to heating up a microwave meal. With my friend's encouragement, my 2009 New Year's resolution was to try at least one new receipe every week. I fell in love with cooking since, and find cooking the best way to quiet my mind and melt my stress. So I would like to use this blog to document my adventure, show off my results (all pictures taken by myself), and share the recipes I found or modified or created.

20101011 Sausage Casserole

Beautiful fall colors on your plate!
INGREDIENTS
8 sausages
1 yellow bell pepper, deseeded and chopped
4 red onions, cut into wedges
400g can chopped tomatoes
250ml chicken stock
1 tbsp sugar
handful of basil
METHOD
1. Heat oven to 200 degrree C. Put the sausages, pepper and onions into a roasting tin, then roast for 20 minutes.
2. Lower oven to 180 degree C, then tip the tomatoes and stock over the sausages. Add the sugar and basil, season, then stir well. Roast for a further 20 minutes. Sprinkle with basil and serve.
